I was reminded of this prediction when Elon Musk announced recently for the n-th time that very soon his cars will be fully autonomous.

Predicting the future is sometimes a tricky business. I remember making a very similar comment to Wolfgang about a prediction he made concerning the outcome of the 2012 Presidential election. 8-)

I got 2016 right, but did not make a direct bet.
This time my money is on the Donald, because the odds on predictit etc. are just too one-sided imho ...
